Hace unos dias, ha asegurado <a href=\"https:\/\/es-us.noticias.yahoo.com\/meta-invierte-14-3-mil-170127600.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">una inversi\u00f3n de aproximadamente $14.300 millones<\/a> por casi la mitad de Scale AI\u2014una de las principales empresas dedicadas al etiquetado de datos\u2014sacudiendo toda la industria de la inteligencia artificial.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alexandr_Wang\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alexandr Wang<\/a>, el joven fundador de Scale, ser\u00e1 ahora el responsable de la divisi\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica de superinteligencia en Meta, algo que inmediatamente puso en alerta a los grandes clientes de Scale, como Google, <a href=\"https:\/\/didi.com.bo\/chatgpt\/chatgpt-01-otra-vez-openai-contraataca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OpenAI<\/a> y Microsoft, quienes decidieron recortar o directamente suspender sus proyectos con Scale AI.<\/p>\n<p>Pero \u00bfqu\u00e9 hace tan valiosa a Scale AI para que Meta apostara esta cifra astron\u00f3mica? Esto convierte al etiquetado en <strong>la columna vertebral oculta<\/strong>, pero esencial, de esta industria tecnol\u00f3gica actual.<\/p>\n<p>Scale AI, fundada en 2016 por Alexandr Wang y Lucy Guo, ingres\u00f3 alrededor de <strong>$870 millones en 2024<\/strong>, demostrando una capacidad impresionante para escalar operaciones de etiquetado masivo gracias a su plataforma Remotasks, una red global de trabajadores independientes. Por su parte, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surgehq.ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Surge AI<\/a>, fundada en 2020, se ha transformado en un competidor notable al apostar por etiquetas de alta calidad generadas por especialistas altamente capacitados- dicen incluso que contrata a profesionales con doctorado- facturando cerca de $1.000 millones en 2024 sin haber recibido financiaci\u00f3n externa.<\/p>\n<p>Como se puede ver, este negocio es millonario y se desarrolla bajo distintos modelos, desde servicios integrales gestionados por empresas como Scale, plataformas SaaS como Labelbox donde los clientes organizan su propio etiquetado, crowdsourcing masivo estilo Amazon Mechanical Turk, hasta la venta directa de datasets ya curados y especializados.<\/p>\n<p>Las cifras del mercado global son impresionantes. Con un valor cercano a $3.000 millones en 2023, la industria proyecta crecer a entre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.remotelabeler.com\/data-labeling-trends-in-2024-2030\/\">$11.000 y $13.000 millones para 2028-2030<\/a>, empujada por una expansi\u00f3n exponencial del uso de la inteligencia artificial en sectores cr\u00edticos como automoci\u00f3n aut\u00f3noma, diagn\u00f3stico m\u00e9dico, servicios financieros y gobierno.<\/p>\n<p>Y esta evoluci\u00f3n aun esta empezando.
